Canine-assisted therapy training in Israel
Professional Canine-Assisted Therapy Training in the Yahav Method is a program for people learning to work responsibly with both humans and dogs. It is recognized by האיגוד למדריכי כלבנות טיפולית בישראל ע״ר. Applications are open for the first cohort, starting 15 November 2026 in Rehovot.
Program structure
650 professional training hours over 12 months
The total comprises 500 hours of study and professional training plus 150 hours of supervision. Classes meet twice weekly for six hours per scheduled meeting; supervision hours are not presented as part of every twice-weekly classroom schedule.

Training takes place in Yahav College's professional learning environment in Rehovot, combining work in the clinic, dedicated learning space, yard and surrounding outdoor environments according to the subject being studied.
